The latest Xbox Live Status service alert confirms that a host of issues are currently affecting the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.
Players may have problems Signing in; creating, managing, or recovering an account, as well as using search.
If a player is already logged in, they may be able to avoid these issues.
“We believe we have identified the issue causing some members to have problems finding previously-purchased content or purchasing new content,” a message from Microsoft support reads.
“Thanks for your patience as the team works to resolve the issue.”
Other currently affected services include: Creating new accounts on Xbox Live, managing those accounts, or recovering an account on a different device, buying downloadable items.
Among the other highlighted issues is Rainbow Six Siege, with the Microsoft support site confirming issues with the game on Xbox One.
“Hello Xbox members, we’re currently experiencing an issue. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back for updates,” another Microsoft message reads.
No ETA has been provided on when all core Xbox Live services will be back online, although the number of server error reports are dropping.
“Guys, it’s nationwide,” one user wrote.
“The Live servers are down. My friends told me that you can play disc games but not downloaded games.
“I hope Microsoft gives us like free games of our choices, or free Live for half a year-a year.”
