ISS fake: Conspiracy theory of NASA cover-up after live video glitches

The clip shows three astronauts speaking on a live broadcast inside the space station.

But as they wave goodbye to Earth, the screen glitches around their figures – while the backdrop remains the same.

Moments later, the feed is cut.

The fact the broadcast problems happen only to the astronauts is what some are saying points to the moment actually being filmed in a studio.

Alien hunter Tyler Glockner – of YouTube channel secureteam10 – posted the clip earlier this week.

“This little glitch at the end has added fuel to the fire behind a theory that has been going on for years – that the ISS is not real and what we are actually seeing in these live feeds are nothing more than the astronauts standing in front of a green screen.

BIZARRE: A live ISS feed mysteriously glitched before it was cut

“What many people are pointing out is that, at the end of the clip, it is not the entire feed that disappears but only the astronauts themselves.

“This is evidence, some say, that at least some of these live feeds are done in front of a green screen.

“Because otherwise why would the astronauts themselves glitch out when everything else in the cabin remains unaffected?”

Tyler did say he believes the ISS was real, but was simply revealing other people’s views.

More than 430,000 have seen the clip, with many offering their own views.

“I say either no ISS at all or at least no live beings in that tin can,” one commented.

Another added: “The way they cut when the glitch happens just adds to the mystery.”

A third then suggested it was “another cover-up” but a fourth was less convinced, saying: “It’s not a ‘glitch’. It’s a well-known artefact due to video compression.”

It’s not the first time the wild theory has come to light.

Another alien enthusiast suggested the ISS was fake after spotting astronauts appearing to wear harnesses during a live feed.
